Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon reportedly is prepared to send a representative for talks with Palestinian officials in Japan. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported that the Japanese foreign minister raised the idea during a meeting with Sharon prior to his departure for the United States.
