Israeli envoy to Uruguay Jacob Tzur was received here today by President Don Luis Battle Beres and presented his official credentials to him. He was accompanied by Mrs. Judith Bergman, who is in charge of the Consulate here, and other members of the Israeli mission in this country.
After the audience with the Uruguayan chief of state, Tzur proceeded to the moment of this country’s national hero, Artigas, and laid a wreath on the tombstone in the presence of high military and civil officials.
