Israeli soldiers discovered a stash of gold jewelry in a child’s gas mask kit that was exchanged for a new one at a distribution center. The jewelry, most likely hidden there to outwit potential burglars, was forgotten when the owner exchanged the kit as part of civil defense preparations for a possible Iraqi war, the Israeli daily Ma’ariv reported.
