Israeli troops carried out the first forced evacuations of settlers in the Gaza Strip. The evacuations came Wednesday as Israeli officials said more than 60 percent of Gaza settlers have left. Soldiers evacuating settlers from Neveh Dekalim, the largest Jewish settlement in Gaza, faced sporadic resistance.
