Israeli troops killed an armed Palestinian in the West Bank. The man reportedly was making his way Monday to the scene of the arrest of an Islamic Jihad leader in the city of Jenin. Elsewhere, five Israeli soldiers were wounded, one of them moderately, in an exchange of fire with wanted Palestinians in Nablus.
