Israeli troops shot and wounded a Palestinian who tried to stab a soldier near an army checkpoint south of Hebron on Tuesday. The Palestinian ran toward the soldiers bearing a knife. The troops opened fire, wounding the Palestinian in the leg and later capturing him.
