Israel’s ambassador to Poland honored Poles who saved Jews during World War II and those who protect Jewish heritage today. At a ceremony Sunday, Shevach Weiss presented medals to four Polish families recognized by the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial as “Righteous Gentiles” for their efforts during the war.
