Israel’s attorney general is investigating President Ezer Weizman for cash totaling nearly $500,000 that he received over the course of several years from a French Jewish businessman. Weizman confirmed last week that he received a total of some $450,000 from Edouard Seroussi between 1988 and 1993, when he served in the Knesset and as a Cabinet minister.
