Israel’s aviation program has achieved considerable technical and operational stability with the help of experts provided by the International Civil Aviation Organization, it was revealed here by the United Nations specialized agency.
The ICAO released a report to it submitted by U. Michaely, Israel’s director of civil aviation, who underlined the great need Israel had of the services of the UN experts at a time when it was straining to set up a modern civil aviation program. He reported that during the past three years there have been five experts from the ICAO advising and assisting in Israel and that two of them are still in the country at present.
