Israel’s chief negotiator with the Palestinians suggested the Palestinians may not seriously want to reach a final-status agreement, preferring instead to leave the difficult decisions to future generations. Speaking to a group of international Jewish journalists in Jerusalem, Oded Eran placed the blame for the halt in talks squarely on the Palestinians.
