Israel’s defense minister is due to meet this week with Palestinian Authority officials to continue talks on a gradual cease-fire agreement. Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer was expected to propose that his “Gaza First” plan be broadened to include Bethlehem and Hebron in the West Bank, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported Sunday.
