Israel’s defense minster said a bloody anti-terror raid that killed at least 13 Palestinians was “necessary.” Speaking to reporters last Friday, Shaul Mofaz said several of those killed in the Israel Defense Force’s 14-hour operation in Gaza City had been implicated in last week’s suicide bombing of a Tel Aviv beachfront bar that killed three Israelis and wounded 40.
