Israel’s deputy defense minister, Ephraim Sneh, confirmed he had met with Austrian officials as part of an effort to secure the release of four Israelis held by Hezbollah in Lebanon. Meanwhile, Austria has received information that the four are still alive, the Israeli daily Ma’ariv reported.
