Israel’s High Court of Justice ordered the Interior Ministry to reconsider its decision to deport an Armenian family. For five years, the Ya’akobian family has been battling the ministry’s refusal to recognize their ties to Judaism, though other relatives have been recognized as Jews. On March 13, the court granted the family a three-month period to prove the mother is Jewish.
