Israel’s High Court on Sunday ruled that the army can continue using controversial shells in the Gaza Strip. The court rejected a petition from Physicians for Human Rights against use of the flechette shells, which disperse hundreds of sharp metals pieces in a wide area. The group argued that use of flechettes violates international law.
