Israel’s jobless rate hit 11 percent in February, the highest level since 1994. The number of unemployed reached 289,800 people, up 2,600 in a single month, the Israeli newspaper Globes reported. The jobless rate is worsening by 0.1 percent every two to three months, the Central Bureau of Statistics said.
