Israel’s justice minister advised the public to hold off paying outstanding parking tickets. Meir Sheetrit said he intends to overhaul policy for traffic fines and waive the steep interest currently charged for failure to pay. Sheetrit said he hopes the reforms will encourage drivers to pay up, the Israeli daily Ma’ariv reported.
