Israel’s Sephardi chief rabbi condemned in a letter to Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat the alleged plot by Jewish extremists to throw a pig’s head onto the Temple Mount. Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron’s letter came as one of the men arrested denied that he was involved in any such plot.
