Israel’s spy agency may be granted legal status, according to a Justice Ministry spokesman. Until now, the Mossad has lacked a formal framework for its operations. The spokesman’s comment came as the Israeli Knesset is considering a bill to clarify the role of the Shin Bet domestic security service.
