Israel’s state comptroller fined Ehud Barak’s One Israel bloc $3.2 million as the country’s attorney general opened a criminal investigation into its campaign finance practices. The investigation into nonprofit organizations that allegedly funneled money illegally from institutions abroad for Barak’s bloc during last year’s elections, is expected to include other political parties as well.
