Israel’s supreme court limited funding for a settler campaign against the prime minister’s disengagement plan from the Palestinians. The High Court of Justice ruled Monday that only those Gaza settlements slated for evacuation could use municipal funds in a campaign to sway Likud members ahead of a May 2 referendum on the plan.
