Israel’s Supreme Court temporarily blocked the release from prison of a Jewish settler convicted of murdering a bound Palestinian terrorist. The order was temporary, pending the high court’s ruling on a petition challenging the release. Yoram Skolnick was due to go free Friday, after a parole board recently cited his good behavior. Skolnick has served seven years of a life sentence.
