Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and parts of the West Bank will take 12 weeks, Ariel Sharon said. “The disengagement will be implemented within 12 weeks of its authorization,” the Israeli prime minister told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Thursday, adding that the deadline is the end of 2005.
