It is reported in German emigration circles here that those interested in Peruvian colonization have concluded the draft of an agreement with the Peruvian government and that Baron van Maltzan, an uncle of the former German ambassador to the United States, is trying to get into touch with Jewish circles to obtain the participation of Jews. Thus far Dr. Kirschberg, a comparatively unknown figure in Jewish circles, is the only one interested.
