Italian Government officials and consuls here representing various countries pledged today continuance of their cooperation with the United Hias Service in its program of resettlement of Jewish refugees.
The occasion was a reception given to Murray J. Gurfein, United Hias president, and Mrs. Gurfein, and Mr. and Mrs. Gaynor Jacobson. Mr. Jacobson is Hias director for European operations, in Geneva. Mr. Gurfein toured Hias installations in Rome and in Naples during a four-day visit enroute to Israel.
