Italian Jewish circles today expressed “painful surprise” at the action of a district court at Voghera, which acquitted seven men who had been arrested for painting swastikas on the walls of houses in the village of Varzi, near Voghera.The men, ranging in age from 19 to 24,admitted to having painted the swastikas.
