Italy Plans Italian Institute in Jerusalem

The Italian Government will shortly open in Jerusalem an Institute for Italian Culture to be directed by the Italian Jewish writer, Professor Aldo Sorani, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was informed by Piere Parini, Director of Italian Cultural Organizations Abroad.

In addition, Mr. Parini said, the Italian Government was sending teachers to Hebrew schools in Palestine to study. Professor Gattego, an Italian teacher, was the most recent educator to leave, he said. Prof. Gattegno will study in Tel Aviv.
