Italy’s largest insurer agreed to pay $150 million in Holocaust-era claims, according to the World Jewish Congress. The group also said that Assicurazioni Generali agreed to provide complete access to its archives and to publish the names of more than 20,000 Holocaust-era policies.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
