J.A. Klein, national chairman of the Canadian Materials for Israel program, died here suddenly Sunday night. In a statement eulogizing Mr. Klein, Rabbi Jesse Schwartz, executive director of the Zionist Organization of Canada, said that the “entire Canadian Jewish community is deeply shocked by Mr. Klein’s sudden death. He was one of the outstanding and devoted Canadian communal workers.”
