J.D.C. Children’s Center in France Named in Honor of Ex-governor Herbert H. Lehman

The Jewish refugee children’s center in Pouguesles-Eaux, a town near Orleans, was named in honor of former Governor Herbert H. Lehman, it was announced today by the Joint Distribution Committee here. Dedication ceremonies were attended by representatives of the U.S. Embassy, the French Government, the state of Israel, the French Jewish community and the J.D.C.
