J. N. F. Acquires Land in Emek from Arab Residing in Cuba

The aquisition by the Jewish National Fund of 2,300 dunams (575 acres) of land in the Emek, in Israel, from an Arab now residing in Cuba, was announced here today by T. Resnikoff, director of the J.N.F. office for Central America. A loan of $40,000 was raised among Jews in Cuba to make possible the transaction, the announcement said.
