J.N.F. Conference in Los Angeles Gets $200,000 in Pledges

A total of $200,000 was pledged here to the Jewish National Fund by various Zionist groups attending a J.N.F. conference. More than 1,000 guests were present at a luncheon yesterday dedicated to the 70th birthday of Theodore Strimling, president of the organization in Los Angeles for the last 18 years. Principal speakers included Dr. Maurice Perlzweig of New York, and Mendel Fischer, executive director of the J.N.F. of America.
