Jacob Katzman, of New York, was elected as general secretary of Farband-Labor Zionist Order, at a special meeting of its national executive committee held here. He succeeds the late Louis Segal, who had served in that capacity for the past 38 years. Mr. Katzman was born in Boston, and attended Boston University, Suffolk Law School, and the Hebrew Teachers College there.
