The question: “What is a Jews” seems to be the average Japanese reaction to the anti-Jewish campaign launched here at a meeting last night by the Anti-Espionage League, it is reported today.

The rally which was attended by several hundred people adopted a resolution declaring that, “the Jewish aspiration to dominate the world is not absolutely compatible with the spirit of the empire.”

Up until recently the total Jewish population of Japan did not total more than a few hundred. Even today with the addition of some refugees it remains about 1600.
