A Jerusalem Festival to commemorate the day of the liberation of the Old City of Jerusalem took place here today at Washington Irving High School. The Festival was sponsored by the American Zionist Youth Foundation, in cooperation with the Orthodox Jewish youth movements and youth organizations in the New York area. The Festival underlined the solidarity of American Jewish youth with united Jerusalem, capital of Israel. Similar rallies took place in fifteen major cities throughout the United States and Canada.
