Jerusalem Made Separate Administrative Unit

Jerusalem will be eliminated from the Southern Palestine District and will be considered a separate administrative unit, according to reports circulated here.

The reorganization of the Palestine Southern District will be put into effect shortly, with the result that the headquarters of the district will be transferred from Jerusalem to Jaffa. According to the new plan Jerusalem will have its own administrator who will be under the direct supervision of the chief secretary of the Palestine government.
