George Cohn, adviser to the Danish Foreign Office, and Chief of its International Law Department, has been appointed a member of the permanent International Court of Arbitration at the Hague.
Cohn, who is a member of the Jewish faith, is the author of a number of books and treatises on philosophy and international law. He has held many important positions. He was a member of the Treaty Commission of 1919 and a delegate to the League of Nations from 1920 to 1925. He has received decorations from many foreign governments.
