A 30-year-old Jewish truck driver, Joseph Balbin, was shot and killed by Arab snipers at Ramlah today when he alighted from his truck to change a flat. A total of 43 Arabs were killed in the two-day engagement at Ismia. The Arab band was estimated at 200 strong. Nineteen firearms and considerable ammunition were seized by the troops.
