A tribute to the memory of Vladimir Jabotinsky, founder of the Zionist-Revisionist movement was paid today at a meeting of the executive of the American section of the Jewish Agency for Israel, under the chairmanship of Mrs. Rose. L. Halprin, marking the 20th anniversary of the death of the Zionist leader.
“His was a luminous personality, a great and powerful voice raised on behalf of his people’s rights, an unceasing fighter for its statehood,” Mrs. Halprin said. Members of the executive joined in recalling his great personality, his important contributions to the Zionist movement and his deep belief in the idea of Jewish statehood. Hope was expressed that the remains of Jabotinsky would soon be brought to rest in the soil of Israel.
