A national education center has been opened here under the auspices of the Jewish Agency, in cooperation with several local schools and educational groups. The new center will seek to promote Zionist education.
A vocational school for women will be organized in Israel under the sponsorship of the Argentine Women’s Organization for Labor Zionism, affiliated with the Moatzat Hapoalot of Israel. Shimon Kushnir, who is now in this country on a Mapai mission, revealed that he is negotiating–on behalf of the Israel Agriculture Ministry–for the purchase of 500 breeding cows.
