A unique stamp exhibit, dramatizing Jewish history of the past 100 years, opened at the Jewish Museum here where it will remain for several weeks.
The show, consisting of stamps loaned from many valuable private collections, is sponsored by the Jewish Agency, with the cooperation of the Israel Government, Jewish National Fund and Society of Israel Philatelists. It recounts Jewish history from the time of the first Jewish settlements in Palestine, 100 years ago, culminating in the creation of the Jewish state.
