The independent status of the Jewish National Fund is to be reviewed by the Jewish Agency, Mrs. Charlotte Jacobson, a member of the American Section of the World Zionist Executive, last night told a meeting of the World Confederation of General Zionists now in progress here.
She said the Jewish Agency Executive had several times discussed the activities of the JNF and its status which currently is largely independent of the Jewish Agency and the WZO. Mrs. Jacobson said no concrete proposals were ready to be submitted to the World Zionist Congress which opens here tomorrow. However, she added, the question may come up in committees and some recommendations may be made.
