Aiming at the promotion of Jewish interest in farming and vocational agricultural training, the Canadian Jewish Agricultural Association has been formed with headquarters in Montreal. Principal aim of the association was stated to be the awakening of Canadian Jewry “to the crying need of re-directing their energies and ingenuity to agriculture.”
Jewish model farms will be established close to cities with large Jewish populations and appeals will be made to Jewish communal centres and educational institutions to make the cultivation of land by Jews in Canada one of their prime objects.
