Jewish and evangelical Christian groups honored Daniel Ayalon. The event Sunday night in Washington was cosponsored by Love of Israel, an evangelical lobbying group, and Nefesh B’Nefesh, a group that promotes aliyah. Ayalon, the former Israeli ambassador to the United States, was recently appointed co-chairman of Nefesh B’Nefesh.
