A Jewish beauty contest has been announced by the Jewish National Workers’ Alliance, 189 Second Avenue, New York City, in conjunction with the Yiddish daily, “The Day.”

The two winners will be crowned Queen Esther and her lady-in-waiting at a ball to be given on April 6. The winners will also be given a free trip to Palestine. Twelve judges will make the selections from the applicants. The contest is open to every Jewish woman in America. All contestants must register at the office of the Alliance not later than February 15 and submit their photographs. The “Day” will publish the pictures and readers of the paper will cast ballots.
