The Jewish Book Council of America, sponsored by the Jewish Welfare Board, today announced a contest for recommendations for the publication of books of Jewish content. Prizes of $200 and $100 will be awarded for accepted recommendations of either new works or literature published in another language and not available in English.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
