Mr. Abraham Solomons, who was in his 100th. year, has died in Full, retaining his faculties to the end. He came to England 80 years ago and after spending 10 years in Leeds settled in Full and travelled in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire in jewellery. His marriage took place 70 years ago at the old Full Hebrew Congregation, which was then situated in Robinson-Row, this then being the only Hebrew place of worship in the city. Becoming a member of the Congregation, he served for many years as a member of the Council, and remained a member until his death. Mr. Solomons celebrated his golden wedding in June 1914. His wife died thirteen years ago.
