A $100,000 endowment for a lectureship in homiletics has been established at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America by the Brooklyn Jewish Center. The lectureship will be named for Rabbi Israel L. Levinthal, who is this year marking his 35th anniversary as spiritual leader of the center.
