(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The hurricane which swept the Crimea did not affect the Jewish colonies according to a telegraphic report received by the Agrojiont, the agency of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.

The Jewish colonies experienced merely a heavy rainfall, with no attendant overflow of rivers, which followed in the wake of the hurricane.
