Requests from displaced Jews in Europe to be settled in agricultural colonies in various countries financed by the Jewish Colonization Association were today discussed at a J. C. A. meeting here.
The meeting heard reports on agricultural training of Jews in Morocco and was informed that the J. C. A. colonies in Israel are faring well and are considered among the most advanced agricultural settlements in the Jewish State. The Association decided to allow grants for tuberculosis patients from Israel who go to European hospitals, for the benefit of “hard core” Jewish refugees in Belgium and for the Mikveh Israel agricultural school in Tel Aviv.
